Espresso Martini

This now-classic drink was invented by British bartender Dick Bradsell at Fred’s Club in London in the 1980s. Initially made with vodka, let's twist it with brandy.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml St-Rémy XO
  • 25 ml Expresso
  • 20 ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 15 ml Simple Syrup
  • 1,7 oz St-Rémy XO
  • 0,8 oz Expresso
  • 0,7 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 0,5 oz Simple Syrup

Appearance

Luminous amber, with a rich golden aura.

Nose

Mature nose underpinned with echoes of oak, and delicate vanilla aromas, layered with hints of ripe fruits and honey.

Palate

A rich palate of flavors. Subtle notes of wood and vanilla are enriched with flavors of gingerbread, candied apricots, dates, figs and nuts. This complex taste is subtly spicy and offers a long finish.
