NEW ST-REMY CREATION

This September, St-Rémy launches Cabernet Cask Finish, the fourth release in a new collection of cask finished limited editions. The “Cask Finish Collection” celebrates St-Rémy’s Master Blender Cécile Roudaut’s expertise in selecting and maturing the brandy in various types of casks.

“Finished in Cabernet Sauvignon Cask” is a limited edition with only 6,672 bottles worldwide. Similarly, each of the “Cask Finish Collection” expressions will be bottled in a very limited batch.

This expression includes a maturation stage in French oak casks that previously held mainly cabernet sauvignon, as well as merlot and cabernet franc varietals.

Tasting notes

Appearance : dark amber, with mahogany hues.

Nose : Fresh butter ; brioche ; toffee ; fresh oak ; wood notes ; red and black berries – blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, blackberry ; vegetal notes – blackcurrant bud, pepper, artichoke, clove ; liquorice.

Palate : Hint of freshness light acidity with smooth and roundness. Red fruits: Strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, ginger and citrus note, cocoa. Fresh butter, fresh brioche notes.

This limited edition is now available in the following countries : Canada, Russia, China, Taïwan and New-Zealand – as well as in Global Travel Retail.
